The free version of Unda Player requires no account and collects no personal data. Your playlists stay on your device. If you subscribe to Pro (cloud sync), we store only what is strictly necessary to sync your devices — no ads, no tracking, no data selling.
1. Who We Are
Unda Player is an Android media player application. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected when you use the app or visit this website, and how we handle it. It covers both the free version and the optional Pro subscription.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Free Version — Data We Do Not Collect
When using the free version of Unda Player, we do not collect, transmit, or store:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifier
- Your IP address or location
- Your viewing history or playlist contents
- Crash reports or analytics (unless you opt in — see below)
- Advertising identifiers
2.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device (Free Version)
The application stores the following data locally on your device only — it never leaves your device:
- Playlist URLs and names you add
- Application preferences and settings
- Channel favourites and watch history
- EPG cache files
You can delete all local data by uninstalling the application or clearing app data in your device settings.
2.3 Pro Subscription — Account and Cloud Data
If you choose to subscribe to Unda Player Pro (for features such as multi-device cloud sync), an account is required. In that case, we collect and store:
- Your email address (used as your account identifier)
- Your playlist names and URLs (to synchronise them across your devices)
- Your application settings and channel favourites (if sync is enabled)
This data is stored on secure servers and is used solely to provide the sync service. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling. You can delete your Pro account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@undaplayer.com.
2.4 Google Play Services
If you install Unda Player from the Google Play Store, Google’s standard services apply. Google may collect device information, crash logs, and installation statistics as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. This is outside our control.
3. Analytics (Optional, Opt-In Only)
Unda Player does not include any analytics SDK by default. If we introduce optional, anonymous crash reporting in a future version, it will be opt-in with a clear prompt before any data is sent.
4. Advertising
Unda Player contains no advertising and does not integrate with any ad network or advertising SDK.
5. Third-Party Content Sources
When you load an M3U playlist or Xtream Codes source, your device connects directly to the server hosting that content. Those third-party servers may log your IP address or usage, according to their own privacy policies. Unda Player has no control over and no visibility into those connections.
6. This Website
This website (undaplayer.com) uses only technically necessary cookies — specifically a session cookie and a language preference cookie. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, and no third-party analytics scripts are loaded.
7. Children’s Privacy
Unda Player is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
For free version users, we hold no personal data, so most data-subject rights are not applicable. For Pro subscribers, the following rights apply:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about your Pro account
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate account data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your Pro account and all associated cloud data
- Portability: Request an export of your synced playlist data

For free version users, all local data can be deleted by uninstalling the application or clearing app data in your device settings.
9. Data Security
For free version users, no personal data is stored on our servers — there is nothing at risk of a breach on our end. For Pro subscribers, account data (email and synced playlists) is stored on secure servers with access controls and encryption in transit. We do not store payment details — all billing is handled by Google Play.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when we release new features. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
